Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Multiple reviewers explicitly praise cleanliness ('It was clean', 'pulizia perfetta'); overall housekeeping is seen as excellent.

Service

Mixed: several mentions of 'super helpful staff' and good lounge service, but also negative front-desk experiences (unfriendly check-in at 1: 30 am), no help with luggage, and restaurant staff who misrepresented ingredients.

Location

Consistently highlighted as a major pro ('never stay anywhere else in New York City', 'great location - trendy spot', 'middle of So Ho is great'); location is a clear standout.

Room Quality

Mixed: praised for spacious rooms and baths, but complaints include noise from above, lack of drawers, no in-room coffee machine, some rooms described as anonymous and a too-narrow bed.

Amenities

Generally positive amenities (lounge/library, excellent breakfast noted), though some guests reported missing in-room amenities (no coffee machine) and odd in-room supplies for some.

Value for Money

Several comments point out high New York prices and that breakfast is not always included — perceived as expensive for what is offered.

Luxurious Accommodations and Top Notch Service

Indulge in luxury at The Mercer, a 5-star hotel in Soho just minutes away from iconic landmarks. Enjoy loft-style rooms with high ceilings, flat-screen TVs, and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers. Need entertainment? Request a video game system for your room.

Personalized Wellness Services

Relax and rejuvenate with private exercise trainers, massage therapists, and yoga lessons at your disposal. Pamper your furry friend with dog walking services while you take advantage of valet parking and chauffeured limousines. Don't forget to explore the lobby's extensive book and magazine library.
